When I first started learning how to use microcontrollers, I was interested in finding different ways of utilizing the DS3231 precision clock to create various alarm clocks. I made a few variations of a project which was an alarm meant to trigger the light switch in my room via a relay and make loud noises to help me wake up.
I had many breadboard versions, as well as some semi permanent installations which could be configured with buttons or through WIFI.
